A better strategy is ADINA - has a nearly equivalent fluids environment, plus a full liquids and solids package, including fluid solid interaction. Their 900 node package is $120.00 - that's not a missprint. Facory training is $450. Full package ( unlimited nodes) is $35K. The 900 node package comes with examples for thermal, elastic stability - this thing really rocks. They can even import NURB models (cost adder).
