P-CAD 2006 & Windows-7

Got a new computer at work - Windows 7 and a big new 25" monitor. So far, so good. But my "old" ECAD system is P-CAD 2006. Schematic seems to work OK, but PC-layout has a significant problem: in selecting OPTIONS|LAYERS, the "current layers" list is blank! That is, I cannot select existing layers to enable or disable them. Has anyone else had this experience? And of course, any suggestions on a fix or at least a work-around? - Richard Kruse, Elex Engr, GPI Inc.
