Plotting more than one axis
Plotting more than one axis
(OP)
I've recently carried out a series of experiments, loading reinforced concrete beams to destruction at elevated temperatures. I want plot load/deflection and moment/curvature but at every increment of deflection recording, the temperature was also taken. Is there any way of plotting deflection and temperature along the x-axis?
I've an X-Y scatter to plot the graphs so far.
Thanks.

RE: Plotting more than one axis
If you have data with the same X-axis scale, but different Y-axis scales, you can plot them on the same graph. To do so, create the graph as you normally would. Then (when you've created the chart) right click on the data series that you want to have an alternate Y-scale and click on "Format Data Series..." Next Click on the "Axis" tab and click on the "Secondary Axis" option button.
Hope this helps!
