How many NICET certificate holders are there?

How many NICET certificate holders are there?

(OP)
Has the company you work for hired any layout technician trainees in the past three years and if so what is the method of training?

Used to be so simple, 30 years ago a trainee could actually lay out a pipe schedule system with only three months on the job but I doubt that happens anymore.

For sprinkler system layout technicians as of April 3, 2009

From the registry I came up with this breakdown.

NICET I 1,458
NICET II 985
NICET III 1,751
NICET IV 1,054
Total 5,258

How have the numbers grown from August, 2000?

NICET I 576
NICET II 568
NICET III 1,188
NICET IV 744
Total 3,076

Over nine years it comes out to 63 Level III's added per year and while 35 per year has been added to the Level IV's.
