I've got a set of blocks which we release with another DLL. What format should the blocks be in to be compatible with Matlab 2006 through to 2008? Most people I talk to only know about one version and there doesn't seem to be a common format recognized by all versions.

Alternatively, is it possible to automatically upgrade from one version to another?

Our stuff is built using r2006a (blocks, libs, MEXes). Seems to be ok still.

OK, I'll try regenerating the DLL in 2006 and run it in 2007 and 2008. Didn't work the last time but maybe if I build it instead of leaving it to one of the expert modellers, it might magically start working.
