Renaming parts files and drawing files

Renaming parts files and drawing files

Renaming parts files and drawing files

I'm new user of Inventor 2008 and I have several drawings I need to rename to a new part numbering system. I'm in a  single user environment and have used the Design Assistant to change the drawing number on the drawing but what about
the file name of the part and the drawing.
How should these be renamed to keep everything parametric?

RE: Renaming parts files and drawing files

You're probably asking in the wrong thread.

Look at http://www.eng-tips.com/threadforum.cfm?lev3=70 and select the inventor forum.

KENAT, probably the least qualified checker you'll ever meet...
