Hello,
We have a to do a repair by welding on a casting part according A439 D2.
The problem is that we have not found a standard which gives the requirements how to do a procedure and a performance qualification on this type of material. I just add that it's not for pressure part, but only for internal pump part.
What is your opinion about this?

We never used to weld repair these grades, not this it can't be done.
Finding the right filler will be the trick, and you will need to anneal afterward.
