Removing Targets

Help,
I'm using 3.1 and I was asked to remove most of the Targets from the schedule. We need about 10 projects baselined and the remaining 70 projects to be targeted at a later date.

I've tried to filter only the projects I want targeted and create a new target but p3 does the whole schedule. Is there a way to filter on the 70 projects and remove the targets from there?

I'll try anything. I appreciate any help I can get.
