Starter's problem

Starter's problem

(OP)
I start use KeyCreator (6.5.0), only 2D-design.

I draw simple drawing. It is easy to explain. I have two steel plates. It is as two paper "face to face"- some holes are in 1. st plate, some holes in plate #2, and some holes are in both. I put: "Z=0" is upper plate, thickness of it is 1,5 mm, so next plate is "Z=-1,5 mm". It is some "aid drawings" in "Z=-4 mm"

I build "components"; it is some lines and holes in Z=0, some in Z=-1,5, and Z=-4.

Problem is: How I can export 2D-dwg/dxf? I want select only 0 and take out only 1.st plane holes to dxf- I don't know how. I want export only holes in plate 2, it is -1,5 mm, and I don't know how.

Is it some way to make it? It is easy. I hidden all items, but only items I leave is -1,5 mm. Then export. Unpossible, here eg. plane #1 is hidden and not exported, but all my "components" are export- plane #2, and all component lines in 0, -1,5 and -4 are in dwg.

So.. please help me?

RE: Starter's problem

How are you selecting the entities???
are you using; all displayed, single, window, plane....?

for you, i suggest you just pick the entities one by one, also you can turn on, and off levels while in the middle of the command.  For example, you hide averything except level 1 (z=0) window select the whole thing, go to levels, turn it off and turn on the level no. 2 (z=-1.5)and then single select all the other components you need.
