Bolt mat'l for offshore marine (sea water) exposure

Bolt mat'l for offshore marine (sea water) exposure

I am working on a project where I need to select the bolt material that will withstand long-term exposure to marine environments.  What mat'l would you recommend that has a relatively high strength?  The fastener will retain a 316SS vessel (at ambient temperature) .  I would desire >100K PSI yield.  Thanks!

RE: Bolt mat'l for offshore marine (sea water) exposure

We usually use A286 stainless steel, Titanium or Inconel 625

Bolt materials coated with PEEK have been recommended previously for service in the North Sea.
