SE 2 Analysis

SE 2 Analysis

(OP)
Morning!
I'll be taking the SE 2 pretty soon.  Anyone out there know how much analysis is on the test?  The NCEES practice test only shows a Portal Method (not hard), but I'm worried about something more agressive.

Any throughts? For now I'll go through all the code stuff, and then backtrack to pick up anthing exta.

RE: SE 2 Analysis

You won't be required to go a computer analysis during the test.  Usually they will give you design values from an analysis.  The portal method is good to know, but you should also know the cantilever method as well since each has their own limitations.
