Anyone in this forum know of any salvage yards that specilize in Garden Tractors. My kids have been bitten by the Garden Tractor Pulling bug, and we need lots of junk to keep the team alive.

RE: Looking for garden tactor junkyards.

if you are lucky enough to live in a small city, sat  under 50K , go make freinds with the local scrap yard, by offering to pay a bit above market value, they might save old lawn tractors brought in for you to look at & buy

One other option: cultivate aquaintance with the operators of your local small engine service shops. They usually maintain a small boneyard that might give up some goodies.
SBI's suggestion has worked well for me but recently I have run into some resistance from scrap dealers to selling parts to walk-ins.  The objection seems to be in possible liability for end use.  I just bring it up so if you run into it you will not be surprised.

Good hunting!
