Applying material properties with respect to cylindrical coordinates

I have an object where i want to assign the material properties with respect to the radial, circumfrential and axial direction. I assigned a material orientaion to the part but I do not know how to assign the material propeties to correspond to the datum refernecs I created. Will assigning a section to the part do this automatically?

Hi yanger11,
Did you create the CSYS (choose CYLINDRICAL)? After you create it, you choose MATERIAL ORIENTATION in TOOL-->you will be asked to choose the PART you want to assign the MATERIAL-->choose the CSYS you created before. That's all.
