RE: Differences between P3 and Contractor

Hello,

In my oppinion PC and P3ec are not exactly successors of P3. Some options are not exists in PC/P3ec...! P3 was better in some aspects!! - in some detail aspects of course.

Main, big differences P3 vs PC (f.e. 5 differences, not all):
- restriction of activitities number (100.000 vs 750/2.000),
- lack of levelling tool in PC (meybe not important ;-]),
- more options of net/bar diagrams formatting in P3,
- more graphic views/structures in PC,
- of course price winky smile like a base.

all the best for Engineers/Managers

RE: Differences between P3 and Contractor

We have found it is easy to move data from Contractor to P3, but have found it difficult to move data from P3 to Contractor. It is also easy to exchange data with Micosoft Project.

Thanks for the responce, I was away for a while. DRC1's comment on the compartibility problems between P3 and contractor has caught my attention. Could this difficulty be due to the larger number of activities handled P3 compared to contractor?

I have also heard that contractor is more stavle than P3. Please comment.
