HF resistant wax

HF resistant wax

(OP)
I am in need of an acid resistant wax or acid resistant chemistry.  Something that can stand up to HF etching with no undercut, as well as being soluble in KOH.  Any help?

RE: HF resistant wax

All Hf bottles at one time were coated with a very pure grade of parafin wax. I don't think it will readily disolve in KOH.
Also the etching kits that were onced sold for glass used a mixture of waxes, red, that was readily souble in warm water.
You might look at the wax emulsions that might be broken by KOH as they arn't 100% wax.
