Gelators for high thermal expansion fluids

I am looking for a simple method to form a gel close to RT out of liquid paraffin or similar high thermal expansion fluids.

The gel would work as a thermal actuator by expanding when heated. It's consistency should be similar to candle-gels or at least a stiff cream. It doesn't necessarily have to be stable over time since it would be single-serving.

Other high expansion fluids could be used alternatively. Exp. coefficient should be min. 0.1 % per deg.C (Coeff.=1000e-6/degC), and the material must not be explosive or hazardous.

Does anyone know if there are gelators for paraffin or similar oils?
