Sharp Vee Thread on Tubing

(OP)
Gentlemen,

I have a plug gage to inspect 1-1/2 Sharp vee thread on tubing head, but I don't know how to use it. Could you tell me for that?

Thanks

RE: Sharp Vee Thread on Tubing

The gage has to be set to a working master at a test lab.
The report you receive will have an offset dimension. This dimension and API 6A 19 Section 10.2 page 140 and page 379,and API 5B, and API BUL 5B, will help you establish your gage points and tolerance.  My question is what is exactly stamped as identification on the gage.
