Does AGA (au gas) mean that it is an Australian forum devoted to gas? If so, is it for natural gas or any gas or what?

Stands for "American Gas Association"  standards for Natural gas in the U.S.A.

Why cannot find API?

RE: Please explain the name of this forum !

Actually AGA stands for Australian Gas Association. Web site is www.gas.asn.au - deal with natural gas and LPG. Pretty much runs the standard for gas appliances throughout Australia. The actual rules are then governed state by state. The key standards are AGA501 or AS3814 which deals with the design of Type 'B' Appliances (ie industrial) and AG601 which deals with the installation of appliances generally.

Are there many differences in American Gas Assn and Australian Gas Assn codes? My company has facilities in both countries, so I was curious. Is there an American GA forum?
