Hi, well here in Switzerland / Europe we received the CD package with CATIA V5 R5 working only on WinNT, Win2000 and UNIX.
The service pack level I do not remember. But does this matter since it's a demo!

I cannot believe that Dassault or IBM is will distribute V5R2 in the US, this must be a false information. Sorry Sidim.

Something else might be interesting. This demo CD does not run unless you order a licence key from IBM.    (Although it is a free key but it reminds me of "Big brother is watchin you")

 I think IBM is using the "Key" to give them an
opportunity to call you at the end of the 30 days.
They called me about 2 weeks after I ordered the
free CD "to see if it installed OK." There are also
a lot of "hackers" that could easily defeat a timestamp
and a timed key would make it a bit harder. We are not
talking about a $10 shareware package here.

 I haven't installed it yet, as I am not quite ready
to upgrade to 2000, but should be after I purchase
some upgrade software at the computer show in Norfolk,
this weekend.

 I went to the page, clicked on the block for USA/Canada and was
able to get all the way to the registration page. There are very few
countries listed, so you have to select the country that has a language
that fits.
