Hi,

Please help.

What are the things to consider and precautions to take when replacing Air cct breaker. The existing one is 1500Amp and the incoming to the breaker is by cables and outgoing is using busbar.

See the IEEE Blue Book (Std 1015-1997) Chapter 7 on acceptance and maintenance requirements of breakers. The annex to Chapter 7 has checklists available for you to reference when developing your own procedure for replacement and retest.
