RE: Nace- protective coating specialist

Your question states that you want the PCS eamination given by NACE. SSPC gives the PCS examination and requires prior consent to take the test. You can contact SSPC at their website or call them in Pittsburgh. The information they require prior to being approved to take the test is extensive and may have changed since I took the test.

NACE offers a Certified Coatings Inspector certification which is given in three levels (I, II, and III) with a certification for each level. There are also prequalifications required for obtaining the Level III and to pass Peer Review which is the top of the heap.

There are chapters for each of these certifications in the Asian area but I am unsure of Korea. Contacting SSPC or NACE online can answer these questions.
