Generating Planned vs. actual progress curve

Is it possible to generate a planned progress vs. actual progress curve from MS Project? If yes, how?
 
Copy the data "work" and "actual work" in the right hand pane of the task usage view into MSExcel and create your graph there. This is the only method I've found to be of any use.
