So, how many of you SolidWorks users actually use CosmosWorks, or CosmosExpress? I hear/read alot about SolidWorks who never mention Cosmos.

RE: # of Cosmos users?

We use CosmosExpress, ComosWorks and CosmosMotion, all depending on the stage of the projects we are working on, the level of technical risk, and the complexity of the model.

We use the same. We also have one seat of FloWorks.

RE: # of Cosmos users?

We have one seat of CosmosWorks with Motion.  I was trained with ANSYS at school, but I have been using CosmosWorks for the one year.

We are trying to better utilize this product in our mechanical design process.

RE: # of Cosmos users?

Cosmosworks and Motion here!

Regards

RE: # of Cosmos users?

Only Cosmosworks here.  We share one seat between three engineers.

RE: # of Cosmos users?

Cosmos Works (that's the full version right?)
Flow Works
Geostar (although I'm the best here and still too dumb to use it.)

RE: # of Cosmos users?

Five of us share one Cosmosworks here, but all use the freebie too (lots more often than bother with the real one.)

RE: # of Cosmos users?

I use CosmosWorks and Floworks PE here (one license). Both very powerful and very frustrating.

RE: # of Cosmos users?

I use Floworks only, and agree with TDFINC.  Very frustrating and powerful.

RE: # of Cosmos users?

I have access to all the add-ins of CosmosWorks etc... I just don't have to time to use it alot. However I have tested or had my files tested that I have made in SW.

Example: I had the bumper on my truck tested with an impact at a 60MPH against a plane. Total Destruction and it wasn't the bumper .

RE: # of Cosmos users?

My colleague and I each have SolidWorks, but we share 1 seat of CosmosWorks.  We use CosmosWorks sparingly, depending on the urgency of the project/issue.  We never use CosmosExpress.

Personally I've used SolidWorks in conjunction with CosmosWorks since 1997 through 3 different employers.
