Need help inregards to plate by exchangers gasket type:

1. How the heat exchanger flow rate can be increased
2. How the exchanger can be adapted for higher temperature
3. How the echanger can be adapted for higher pressure

How does the heat transfer effect due to
1. thickness of gasket?
2. pressure differential across the plate surfaces
3. plate relief pattern
4. pack size

I am marine engineer so the post in shipbuilding. Heat exchangers are used all over including ships.
