We build sound proof enclosures for power generation. Our insulation system includes a vapour barrier. Our present choice has a decent fire rating, but still performed badly in an actual fire. Since this additional precaution seems to have bought us little, we are considering substituting 6 mil poly sheet (or some equivalent in price and service) if one exists with ASTM E-84 Flame Spead Index <25 and Smoke Development Index <450. Does anyone if such a thing exist?
