Does anyone know of a US based manufacturer capable of making welded (not seamless) pipe, elbows, tees, etc. 12" and down that are compliant with the PED (stainless steel)? The main problem is the welding procedures; no one in the US has PED approved WPS. There are many manufacturers of non-welded items like flanges, seamless pipe and elbows, plate, sheet, etc. that are PED approved (Mainly per the Annex I Sec. 4.3 route), but I can't find anything for welded items. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can retranscribe ASME IX WPS/PQR to EN287/288 standard in case if you want to apply EN norm. This is not valid of all PQR/WPS bacause of qualification range, tests and variables.

Note that you can use the ASME IX WPS/PQR and still conform to PED, all depends on the design code.

The problem is that almost nobody in the US has PED compliant WPS and also many Notified Bodies require witnesses of the WPS and WPQ coupons by the manufacturer.
