project help needed, duration very wrong

(OP)
hey there i really need some help with a quite large project i'm working on.. i have got all the task done and the durations which are mostly one hour or 2 hours. there is about 170 tasks and the total duration is comming up at only 2.5 days.. i have linked all the Predecessors properly and the working time for the project is only one day a week for four hours.. so i have no idea why it is saying the project will last 2.5 days... any help on this would really be appreciated

thanks

RE: project help needed, duration very wrong

Duration is one aspect of activities.  How about the work to be done? If you define it per task in units, things may work out differently.

Secondly, what type of constraitns do you use? SS - Start to Start constraints might also cause your problem. By switching to FS - Finish necessary for Start of successor you might solve youyr problems.

Good luck!
