Colorbar legend of a contourplot?
Colorbar legend of a contourplot?
(OP)
Hi everybody,
I plotted the function F(x,y):= 2^(x/y) in a surface plot.
Double clicking the graph I get the 3D plot format options.
- In the general tab I select; contour plot
- In the appearance tab under Fill options I select; fill contours.
- In the special tab under contour options I deselect; draw lines and auto contour and increase the number to 99.
- In the quick plot data I change the start number -5 in the range1 and range2 option to 1
Now I have a 2D color contour plot of my function.
My question is, is it possible to get a colorband next to the graph that shows the scalars that represent the colors in my graph?
Thanx in advance!
Lukaz

RE: Colorbar legend of a contourplot?
I dindn't find such a feature jet. But I've had a simimal problem and solved it with a second diagram:
I hope it's a little bit helpful,
