Does anyone out there have experience with linking between SAP (enterprise software) and Inventor? I've read that SAP and Autodesk have partnered to develop such a link and would appreciate any information or sources of information that you can offer.

I recently found out through SAP that they have a tie-in to Inventor in Beta testing. "Cad Desktop" for Inventor is slated for release in Jan. 2002. It will provide a front-end to the SAP/PLM module and save drawing info as a "DIR" (Document Info Record), including previews of the drawing in "JT" format.
