I manage a Cement Manufacturing Plant. We have had serious safety problems with our mobile equipment, lot of accidentes (Dumpers, forklifts, Loading Trucks, Flat Bed Trucks,etc.). We are starting a serious turnover program and the goal is to be the safest industrial company regading logistics, transportation of raw materials or products and quarry and internal heavy machinery mobilization. The goal is to make our equipment safe and our operators aware of all safety standards they need to follow. Does anybody know of a certificate from ISO or any other organization that can be useful to us???

Did you search the ISO site? Look for links in the FAQ Where can I get ISO specifications from? (faq182-802).

Best regards,

Matthew Ian Loew

Dear Cfrano,

I would propose to implement a Safety System according to OHSAS 18001 standard which allows you to build a preventive safety process and risk analysis and to save your investment of turnover program.
