Black Conducitvely-Plate Connectors

Black Conducitvely-Plate Connectors

I'm looking for a source for matte black, conductively-plated cylindrical military connectors and accessories.

Specifically, the connectors should be MIL-DTL-38999, Series III or I (or commercial equivalents) jam nut or wall-mount receptacles and mating cable plugs.  We also have a need for fitting back shells, cable clamps, etc. with the same plating.

The plating would be matte black nickel or the like.  The plating has to be conductive for EMI reasons.

I've found that there are vendors who are willing to make these but only with high minimum buys and NRE charges. Regarding quantities, we need "tens" not "hundreds" or "thousands."

Thanks in advance for any leads you can provide!

RE: Black Conducitvely-Plate Connectors

Many MIL SPEC connectors can be disassembled. If these are you could purchase them nickel plated and have them over-plated electrolytic black nickel.

Thanks for the tip but we want to buy them "good to go."
