Quotient, Remainder

I am new to matlab and this might be a silly question. Is there a command in matlab to obtain the quotient and remainders of two numbers. when I looked up on google the results showed quotient, remainders for polynomials. I am just looking for numbers. I could try to write a logical statement but wanted to know if there is a direct command. Thanks in adavance.

Either "rem" or "mod" should do what you want.
