Hi all,

I have a building with design category B with a height of 470 ft <North Carolina>.

As per this Clause, one can go to equivalent static procedure 1617.4. For this building, the base shear is governed by eq 16-37 (Minimum value 0.044*Ie*Sds)
Design conditions are fine.
But story drift values are too high.

Can i use response spectrum analysis method ?. So that drifts would be less even after scaling also.
