This isn't affecting me....mine's fine. But three people in my group are have trouble with View -> Modify -> Zoom about screen center.

It seems to be locked in that mode regardless of whether you toggle it on or off.

Like I said, mine's just fine. But it's weird that it's happening to three people here....I suggested that the problem was between the chair and the keyboard, but it does seem to be stuck.

What are the differences between your system and the others?

Mouse, settings, video cards, ???

You could try copying you settings (using the Copy Settings Wizard) to their machines as a quick first kick-of-the-can fix.

NOt sure.... but this problem only JUST materialzed. It was working, and now it's not.

Anyone using a 3D Space widget of any kind? Everyone on the same version and SP of SolidWorks? Any different graphics cards or drivers (or driver settings)?

Reason trumps all. And awe transcends reason.

Are they switching between SW and ACAD or any other CAD software?
Open SW, close, then reboot their pc's.

Actually they are switching between SWX and ACAD

I get the same problem if I run Catia and Solidworks at the same time. With SW and Acad it works fine.

I think we figred it out. It's because those who are having the problem are running two monitors. It works on monitor 1 but not monitor 2.

I guess I should have mentioned it. Sorry...

Odd.
Works fine on both my monitors.

I dunno. One of the affected people said she actually found the solution on the Swx website.

What do I know... I'm management now.......

Ok after some testing I've found the same problem and fix.

Run Catia on monitor 1 and SW on monitor 2 and the zoom to mouse doesn't work.

Run SW on monitor 1 and Catia on monitor 2 and everything
is fine.

Good tip thx.
