Is there a way to keep AutoCAD from inheriting Z Coordinates of a contour or other object when drawing line, rather than pulling up the properties menu every time and changing the Start Z & End Z to 0.00
 
Sort by date Sort by votes
Type at the Command Prompt "elevation", enter your Z coordinate desired. Remember to set it back to 0 if you need to.
