All,

It rarely find the Young Modulus for most plastics out there. Is it possible to use Flexural Modulus in place of Young Modulus for deflection calcaulation?
In addition, does any one know the E value for Phenolic LE?

Regards,

MT

Is Flexural Modulus the same as Young's Modulus ? If you're Flexural Modulus is based on geometry, like I/y, and not on material properties, like stress/strain, then probably not. If your Flexural Modulus expresses this much displacement for that much moment, then you might be able to derive a Young's Modulus.

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?
