Hi,
How I can use the function Young modulus vs temperature E=E(t)in the defining of the isotropic material (Nastran for Windows)?
With a lot of thanks,
Krzyszof

The modulus of elasticity of structural steel (E) is approximately 29,000 ksi at 70 deg F. It decreases linearly to about 25,000 ksi at 900 deg F and them begins to drop at an increasing rate at higher temperatures.

So it material dependent. Find numbers for material in question and make function.
