Hi everyone:
I have come across a tough question. since we are dealing with air treatment, such as air conditioner and dehumdifier, i am suppposed to looking for the noise mechanism and try to reduce noise level. However, what i found is that the most noisy mechanism is coming from the compressor, at most case it dominates the overall noise level. of course, wind noise is another factor which should be taken into account.
can anybody tell me how to calculate the wind noise, i mean can we identify the wind noise at certain frequency, if so, how can we calculate from its physical property.
Furthermore, can vibration test help us to identify the noise, i mean if we found a peak around 100 Hz from noise spectrum, for example, can we look at the vibration around this frequency, and conclude they are related.
pls pop up any suggestion and your experience will be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Yang
