Wrap spring design 1

I've been hunting for design equations and calculations to design a wrap spring clutch (basically, a torsion spring that couples two rotating shafts together). I want to calculate the maximum transferrable torque before slippage occurs. I have no been able to find a thing anywhere on the net, and I have looked and looked. Can anyone save me from going back to first principles and deriving them myself?
