Balance, rotor gap, bearing self alignment, lamination consistency, magnet placement accuracy, minimum commutator size and finish, brush initial contact shape (wedge that runs in over a short time), axial end play or spring constraints.

Thanks for the guidance on items to keep in mind with wound rotor motors. Other than balance and bearings, are there any unique ways that these other problems reveal themselves in the vibration data?
