Hi Joe,
Some questions here about how best to work remotely.
User A wants to:

[li]Download an entire assy to hdd,[/li]
[li]One of those files being checked-out to him[/li]
[li]and let the other files be worked on by other engineers.[/li]
[li]work remotely on his file,[/li]
[li]then check it in to server when back home/slow vpn at hotel overnight.[/li]
[li]re-download updates from other engineers, not checked out.[/li]
[/ol]From TC:
I see the check-out->'Export Dataset On Check-Out'.
This works for one file in the temp folder, but not sure how best to get all others. Don't want to check-out all others.

[li]I can export an assembly outside teamcenter to c:\temp,[/li]
[li]Then check-out and 'export dataset on checkout' the one file i need from TC.[/li]
[li]However, If the file I need to work on is an assembly, then the links to sub-components are all hosed.[/li]
