Work locally on Nx 8 - Teamcenter

Hi,

We have Nx 8.0 working on Teamcenter 10. The problem we face is it takes a long time for operations like Renaming, Revising etc.

CATIA has this facility to work *locally*, even though it is linked to Teamcenter.
In CATIA when we check out assemblies it is actually keeping a downloaded copy locally, without us knowing it, so that the operations are much smoother and slicker. When we save it, it gets checked in.

Can we emulate the same behavior inside Nx? Any settings?

Also Nx and TC are from the same Parent company. Any way of getting Advanced Teamcenter operations (Like making Baseline releases) inside Nx without moving out of its window?
