maybe some of you can help to setup a 505 extraction parameters:

Piping configuration the inlet to the turbine is 300#, and also feeds a letdown station, the letdown station is tied with the extraction pipe so basically the letdown valve and the extraction are in parallel.

Old System

The old system consisted in a non-condensing turbine, a 4-20 MA signal was provided to the 505 to control the 145 pressure using a master pressure signal that in cascade would act as a split range controller, in cascade the signal from 0-29% was provided the turbine control for the 145 PSI header pressure, the rest 29-100% signal was provided to a letdown valve.

Master Pressure signal 0-100% in cascade this signal is for the Woodward 505 goes through a function generator and converts the 0-29% to 0-100% feed as a set-point to auto manual station (0-100% output), likewise the rest 29-100% is re-scaled to 0-100% and feed as a set-point to auto manual station for the letdown station.

New system

The new system is a condensing turbine with extraction control currently it is configured to control the 145 pressure by a pressure transmitter as the process variable and a local set-point via the 505. I think that two pressure controller (let down valve and the extraction control) will not play together nice since there is the possibility that one will take over. I am having problem how to implement the signal from the pressure master to the Woodward 505 any suggestion on the 505 extraction setting to allow a plant master signal to control extraction?
