Just out of
curiosity (am am really not good at this subject) can Mechanica do a analysis
of constructions made of wood?



Especially balsa wood...

Any analysis program capable of handing non-isotropic materials can handle wood, but you need to understand the limitations and assumptions that need to be made.


This is a good book I used to use back in a previous job where wood figured into our calculations (semi-trailers with wooden floors)...
