Wood Tread Structural Properties

I'm designing steel stairs that are using bamboo, Brazilian Cherry or ash as the treads which are 10" wide x 2'-8" length. Is there a site where the structural properties for these species can be located? Or is it a situation where these species of wood are laminated over a structural grade plywood that supports the load?

I would consider using 2x12 tread to obtain the 11 1/4 inch width commonly used.
