Wiring Diagrams in NX

Good morning,

We will be going to use the wire harness package to route our wire harnesses, but I have a question. Can you use the information from the package to create intelligent wiring diagrams and formboard drawings as well? We are looking at Zuken to create the wire harnesses and formboard drawings, but if we can do everything in UG, it would make things so much easier.

There are sections of the document which discusses such things as flattened 3D models as well as formboards. As for so-called "intelligent wiring diagrams" generally speaking our wiring programs interface with 3D party schematic packages where the original electrical design takes place, but once this has been done, NX can take it from there to do the actual 3D wire routing, definition of the bundles and connectors, laying out the 3D flattened model and finally the BOM's and formboards so that the harnesses can be manufactured.
