I have trouble trying to understand converting wiring diagrams into ladder diagrams. In this wiring diagram it splits into different directions (like most) and it's hard to get a sense of direction to tie it all together. I have included the wiring diagram and an attempted drawing. Am I even on the right track? Thank you.

NickFury,
Yes, you're doing OK. You might want to add the terminal numbers on the relays and perhaps number your terminal strip from left to right, 1,2,3 etc.
Give the terminal strip a name e.g. TB1. Use a different symbol for the terminal strip terminals to differentiate from the relay terminals.
Add the contacts and indicate which relay they belong to e.g.
CR1

Note: Although the contact is NO/NC you only need to show the portion that's wired.
Just scratch it out on a scrap of paper until you get the idea of how it's wired then do a final drawing.

Can anyone tell me if I got this diagram right? If not, where is it wrong and what is the correct way to draw this ladder diagram from the wiring diagram. Thanks.

Sorry NickFury,
I was away on Friday. You are on the right track, missed a couple of contacts though. I think you probably appreciate how long it takes to draw a ladder diagram, I traced it out myself and it took a couple of hours. I will pdf them tomorrow and attempt to post them on the board (i haven't done that before)

What are you trying to do, code the equivalent into a PLC?
Regards
Roy

Thank you Roy. I am trying to turn the wiring diagram into a ladder diagram. Trying to learn how to do this, I give credit to those who know how to do this cause its not easy.:)Thanks again. I appreciate the help.

Hey NickFury,
I draw this type of drawing all the time. Here's my take on converting the drawing.
I labeled the terminals from right to left.
This is a very typical start stop circuit. I imagine the CR's control something else once this is installed.
Good luck!
