Wireframe Color

When I create parts, I set the wireframe color different than the shaded color. This allows me to look at a wireframe asembly and see functional parts instead of a mass of black lines.

Every assembly I have is not behaving properly. They display in wireframe as one color, sometimes black, sometimes the same color as the last part inserted. I haven't changed, updated, modified my system in about 6 weeks, so I am thinking that I must have accidently "flipped a switch" somewhere. Any suggestions?

I'm checking on that--I think you're right--there's a switch somewhere that says something like "use part color for wireframe" in settings or something. Perhaps in General settings?

In the Color tab in Document Properties, there's the option "Apply same color to wireframe, HLR, and shaded" that can be checked. But I was thinking of something in the System Options, not the Document Properties.

Anyway, in my assembly, with the option above selected, my wireframes for each part are the same color as the parts when shaded.

Same here as Jeff.

Also, I saw a commercial from LensCrafters, they will give you any color wireframe you want.[bigsmile]
