Are you involved in an aircraft modification project wherein a device of some sort is fitted to the aircraft nose? (FLIR or movie camera of some sort)

If this is a one-off kind of project, keep it simple - don't get wrapped up in a big CFD analysis. There are several books you can look at that will give you a good feel for the loads involved. That should be sufficient for certification of a simple modification.

Why would you simulate a wind tunnel. A wind tunnel simulates free flight however Fluent make a CFD software that might do what you want. The reynolds number in a wind tunnel is different to that in free air and extrapolation maybe needed. CFD and a lot of computing grunt is the best bet I think.
