Question regarding the topographic factor ASCE 716

is there any maximum value limit to it?

I ask because....i designing a small room like 20x10 and 12' ht....the room is located on a mountain hill and there is no way for me to know the topographic factors needed to determine Kzt...

The room is so small thatcI wonder if there is a maximum value that I could use to be conservative....the room is a typical wood frame....with vaulted ceiling and cement tile roofing...

any suggestion?

Use 1.0...I doubt your wind loads are that high, so likely not an issue.

Mountainrunner:

You can determine the factors you need for determining Kzt from Google Earth Pro. Do it all the time.

Wind could control here over seismic if the snow load is not too high.
